The Tennis Pro and the Tennis Committee are responsible for interpreting and enforcing rules and making reasonable modifications where applicable to avoid inequities.

Tennis sneakers and proper tennis attire must be worn on the courts at all times. Suction cup soles or shoes which dig or damage courts may not be worn on the courts. The Tennis Pro may refuse to permit the use of the courts to any person not wearing tennis sneakers or proper tennis attire.

When using courts 2, 3 and 4, please use the walkway (outside the court area), as walking across the courts may disrupt play and/or instruction.

Singles play is allowed for 60 minutes, and doubles play 90 minutes when other players are waiting for a court. The tennis pro and staff may make adjustments in these times if the courts are particularly crowded.

The "Waiting List System" will be used. Persons who are taking lessons may not sign up or be placed on the waiting list until they leave the court. Players must report to the starter who will put their names on the waiting list and will supervise court assignments. No one is permitted to place his/her name on the waiting list if that person is on the tennis courts or has another reservation on the waiting list.

Saturday, Sunday and holiday mornings from 8 AM to 10:30 AM are reserved for adult members who are employed full-time, and who are not able to play during the week. Those who work full-time and who cannot find other working players who can play on weekends or holiday mornings, may play with non-working players.

For juniors, singles play is 30 minutes and doubles play is 45 minutes, subject to the discretion of the starter.

Juniors and adults may play together provided there are at least as many adults as juniors when using adult court time.

Parents are responsible for the behavior and safety of their children at all times. The starter may ask parents to remove their children from the court area.

The courts will be ready for play at 8AM each day when conditions permit.

All Club employees and all persons who are or have been compensated for playing or teaching tennis are ineligible to enter Club tournaments.

Only adults are eligible to enter the Adult Club tournaments. "Adults" are defined as persons seventeen (17) or over by January 1st of that year.

Only juniors/children are eligible to enter the Junior/Child Club tournaments. "Juniors" and "Child" are defined as age sixteen (16) or under as of January 1st of that year.

Any member bringing a tennis guest must sign in and must pay a guest fee or punch a guest card. Cards may be purchased through the Club or at the Tennis Shop. Please do not ask employees to break the rules or make exceptions. The Club's guest policies will be enforced.

COURTS ARE AVAILABLE ONLY TO MEMBERS, AND GUESTS ACCOMPANIED BY MEMBERS.
